Many students experience undiagnosed decoding (or word-level) difficulties that hamper their academic achievement. Designed with adolescents in mind, Really Great Reading’s Phonics Suite provides a comprehensive set of tools to help literacy professionals identify, group and teach students with decoding difficulties.
Phonics Suite currently has two sets of lessons: Phonics Blitz and Phonics Boost™. Students are placed in Blitz or Boost according to their skill level.

Phonics Suite lessons review the phonics concepts that students should have learned in earlier grades and explicitly teach them to identify phonemes in spoken words. This transfers to a better understanding of letter/sound relationships when reading.
All lessons focus on reading accurately and include opportunities for students to practice reading aloud. With explicit Phonics Suite instruction and practice, struggling readers will become more accurate, efficient, and confident.
