Research says that a large percentage of kids are ending up in upper grades with decoding deficits. Even mild decoding deficits can lead to significant reading comprehension issues. Diagnosis is critical.

Diagnosing whether students have adequate decoding skills and using data to group students together allows us to provide targeted intervention for those students who need it.
